We are an innovative nonprofit organization that is addressing an unmet need in communities.

Imagine a child you know having a birthday without any gifts. Imagine being their parent unable to recognize your child on their one special day -- their birthday. Imagine the difference you can make in the lives of these families.

Many children have never experienced the joy of celebrating a birthday because they live in poverty (one in every 6 kids in the USA). We are making a difference by providing parents who are living in shelters with a birthday gift bag, containing small toys and treats, to give to their child on their birthday. We reached 18,580 disadvantaged children last year.

We would like to encourage your members to become Cheerful Givers by assembling a group (any number of people), getb some new small toys and gift bags, put 10 toys in each bag and take them to a shelter in your community. Cheerful Givers are invisible in this process. We just like to know how many birthday bags were done and where they went for tracking purposes.

Another way to support this cause is to find ways to raise funds so we can provide this volunteer opportunity to others who can't afford to purchase toys such as youth with disabilities and the elderly.
