A Short Course in Kindness News
There's a new email newsletter encouraging people to practice kindness in all its forms -- including self-kindness, something many of us could learn more about. It's free and is published by Margot Silk Forrest, author of "A Short Course in Kindness." I wrote the foreword to Margot's book and I encourage you to take a look at her newsletter.

The first issue included inspirational quotes; one reader's story of having a high-school humiliation turn into a sweet memory thanks to a handsome boy; a question-and-answer piece about what to do when people try to make us feel bad for being kind; five practical ways to use kindness to improve your romance; and a hilarious news article on two elderly women who thwarted an armed robber by giving him milk and cookies, then offering him a shower so he wouldn't look so obviously down-and-out when the police started searching for him.
