I'm going to distribute Good Deeds at churches and libraries. I've
talked to a bunch of churches here in Knoxville who are willing
to put up a
wire rack in their lobby or near their other literature. All the
churches
that I've talked to so far have agreed to buy the racks and the
MetroPulse
(the local paper that is doing the printing) will supply the racks
at cost
(around $14 each). I will print 1 magazine for every member of their
congregation and 100 for each library. So far I have a circulation
over
40,000 and I've only talked to a few of the biggest churches. Knoxville
has
a population of about 300,000 and all of them go to church somewhere
(just
ask 'em). I expect to print 100,000 each edition.
The newspaper is going to help me sell ads as well as some of the
charities that I've used in the newsletter. I have to sell a lot
of
advertising for it. But, if it all goes even close to the plan,
I'll be
able to raise about $10,000 for charity. All the profits for the
project go
to charity.
