As I was doing so, people kept coming up to me after my talk and
asking me if I had read the book, and seen the movie, "Pay
it Forward", which I hadn't up until that time. After reading
the book and then seeing the movie, I realized what they were talking
about and it really helped me fully develop one of the most important
strategies of NetWeaving which involves "hosting" meetings
for two other people - just because you believe they will benefit
from meeting each other.
At the end of these "energized" sessions in which people
discover ways they can help each other; things they have found that
they have in common, and connections each can make for the other,
we now challenge each person to "Pay It Forward" and to
"host" a meeting for two other people. You have been gracious
enough to allow me to call this, a "business version"
of "Pay it Forward" and already it is catching on around
the country.
We hope to bring even more attention to the Pay it Forward Foundation,
especially through our connection with and promotion of Junior Achievement.
