Dear Catherine,

I am planning to use the PIF model to begin a humane education program in my community for the purpose of reducing the pet overpopulation through an agressive spay/neuter campaign. We are launching phase one, called "Spay it Forward" on National Make a Difference Day.

I think this is the perfect program to use in the school systems across the nation. We are all aware of the link between animal abuse as children and criminal behavior as adults; what better way to help children learn to relate to the world around them in a humane, responsible and compassionate fashion.

I am very excited about launching this program in my community- thanks for the incredible concept of Pay It Forward!
