Individuals Paying It Forward
Our Names our Mike Zendano and Nick Compisi, and we would like to share our story with you. We designed an interesting way to "pay it forward" through physical activity. Our Idea is designed for middle school to high school aged students. The main objective of our program is to express the importance of culture and help students gain an appreciation of different cultures throughout the world. We are both physical educators and have decided to have our students in our classes to break up into groups of four or five and research a unique game or sport that represents a different culture. The students will then teach the rest of the students of the class the rules and history of the game and will lead the class as they participate in that game. The game/sport they choose must be a game that is not normally apart of our curriculum. Student's will not only learn to appreciate different cultures, but they will also get a chance to spread their appreciation to the rest of the class. In a world that is often divided, we are hoping to promote cultural unity throughout our youth. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Michael Zendano
Nick Compise
