Earthbound angel

Recently while I was at work, my house was broken into. The worst part was that the gate was left open and my dog, Teddy, ran away.

By the fourth day that Teddy had been gone, I had all but given up on finding her. Even though she had on her county license tag, she could have lost it, someone could have decided to keep her, or worse.

On the evening of the fourth day, I had a message from Andrea, who had found Teddy in Dreamy Draw Park while out running. She made a special trip back to get her and take her to the animal emergency clinic until she could reach me.

I can never thank you enough for your thoughtfulness, Andrea, but I will pay it forward. There are angels on Earth.
