International Recording Artists The Green Children Pay It Forward with Whole
Foods Market and Whole Planet Foundation
Pop Duo Use Music to Provide the "Green" to At-Risk Countries Worldwide

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, The Green Children announced their
global campaign of a mission through music with the help of Whole Foods
Markets and the Whole Planet Foundation. The partnership assists disadvantaged
countries in advancing financially through microcredit -- a lending program
designed to promote entrepreneurship and monetary growth. With the release of
multiple singles, including their highly anticipated song, "Hear Me Now,"
available via iTunes, The Green Children will be donating fifty percent of the
proceeds towards a micro-lending project in India.

The Green Children are no strangers to transforming dreams into reality. The
twosome, which consists of bandmates Tom Bevan and Milla Sunde, joined forces
with Nobel Peace Prize recipient Professor Muhammad Yunus to establish The
Green Children Foundation in 2006. Together, the non-profit organization
raised over $500,000 going towards microcredit, education, healthcare and the
first Grameen Green Children Eye Hospital in rural Bangladesh. Through the
gift of song, their latest collaboration with Whole Foods and Whole Planet
will seek to further their mission through music to provide relief to other
at-risk countries globally.

"We believe that gifts are given for a reason and that we are meant to use
them for the greater good," state The Green Children. "With our voice, we
aspire to inspire and raise awareness for positive solutions that are working
to conquer world poverty."

"We at Whole Planet Foundation and Whole Foods Market are enormously proud to
have The Green Children as our partner," says Philip Sansone, President and
Executive Director of Whole Planet Foundation. "Through their amazing lyrical
and musical gift, combined with their personal and professional philosophy of
life, they personify the new higher consciousness emerging from young people
today that I believe will transform the world in the 21st Century."

The Green Children are more than the myth and will not rest until global
poverty is addressed. Along with the partnership with Whole Foods and the
Whole Planet Foundation, The Green Children will be featured in the
foundation's new calendar available in all Whole Foods Market stores,
performing at a series of Whole Foods Market events to promote awareness and
plan to distribute their upcoming album through the major market chain. In
addition, the video for their single "Hear Me Now" will be available as a free
video download via the Whole Planet Foundation website.
