Revue helps people in need
From staff reports
November 11, 2005
A dinner and music revue this weekend, "A Place For Us," will raise money for people in need.
The Pay It Forward group's production, starring Sioux Falls singers and musicians, is 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday at the All Occasions banquet facility at Tea.
Fashioned after the movie by the same name, the 4-year-old Sioux Falls group raises money and gives it away anonymously. So far, it has collected nearly $50,000 and given it all away to individuals, groups and organizations in need, says spokesman John Beranek. Last year, it raised money for the Homeless Coalition.
Tickets for the dinner and show are $40. For information, call 321-5850 or visit www. humanlikeyou.com.
