Pay It Forward • Catherine Ryan Hyde Visit

Pay It Forward author Catherine Ryan Hyde visited Johnson City and the Johnson City Public Library on September 18. She appeared before a crowd of over 275 people that evening in the Nave at St. John's Episcopal Church. Afterwards, everyone retreated to the library's meeting center for a book signing and reception.

People of all ages--teens, collegians, and adults--took the opportunity to hear and meet Ms. Hyde. During her talk, she fielded many good discussion questions and kept her audience at attention for the entire hour.

Ms. Hyde's visit wrapped up the very successful Same Book Same Time program, in which Johnson City citizens simultaneously read and discussed the book, Pay It Forward.
